Dr. John McIntyre D.C., CCSP, ART, AHPS
Dr. John has been in practice ten years. He is credentialed as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and a Full Body Active Release Technique (ART) provider. He is ART Ironman certified and has worked with some of the best Triathletes in the World. He has treated world class athletes from all over the country and while he specializes in triathletes, cyclists and runners, he has also has treated professional, collegiate, high school athletes and weekend warriors in the Pearland and surrounding areas. He served on the ART treatment team at the Kona 2009 World Triathalon Championships.
Dr. John is a graduate of Baylor University where he received his Bachelors in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He is also a graduate of Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas, where he completed his education and internship in Chiropractic Medicine. He attended Baylor College of Sports Medicine where he received certification as an Advanced Human Performance Specialist. To finish his studies, he persued his postdoctoctoral studies as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.
Currently licensed in the state of Texas, Dr. John dedicates his practice to musculoskeletal and neurological disorders with an emphasis on sports injuries and pediatric sport related disorders. His high school and collegiate passion was basketball until his career was ended by several knee injuries. He has coached basketball, baseball, and football for over 10 years. Dr McIntyre and his staff have been a common sight at many events in the Houston and surrounding areas. He has completed many triathlons, marathons, six half Ironmans, and is a three time Ironman.
